Geoforensic Assessment at TULIP Pipeline ROW

In December 2022, a combined flood and landslide event occurred near Kg Lombong, which affected a portion of the TULIP pipeline right-of-way (ROW) and was suspected to have been triggered by heavy rainfall. The objective of this project is to perform an assessment and identify the possible root cause of the failure.

This project involves a multidisciplinary assessment in the fields of geology, geotechnics, geospatial analysis, and hydrology. Unmanned vehicles of USV and UAV were deployed to generate a comprehensive model that combines on ground and underwater-bed topography.
